Made to order: Current estimated production time is approximately 5-6 weeks, depending on the part. Lead times are estimates, exclude weekends and holidays, and are not guaranteed.

Required packaging included: The item price includes a $40.00 HBX01 packaging/crating charge. Multiple-part orders may require a different package configuration; any change will be confirmed before fulfillment.

Truck freight quote required: This oversized item ships by LTL truck freight. Freight rates and fuel surcharges change daily, so freight is not included in the item price. After the order is placed, we will obtain a destination-specific estimate and contact you for approval. Additional residential, limited-access, liftgate, redelivery, storage, or address-correction charges may apply. Inspect the shipment before signing for delivery and refuse visibly damaged freight.

Fiberglass construction and finish

Glasstek manufactures hand-laid fiberglass body components in Naperville, Illinois. The part arrives in sandable semi-gloss black gel coat, which is a preparation surface rather than a final finish. Dry-fit before drilling, sanding, trimming, or painting. Fiberglass parts are not direct-fit replacements and may require trimming, bodywork, hinge adjustment, and professional paint preparation. Do not bake fiberglass parts.

Recommended hood hardware

Glasstek strongly recommends two front hood pins on every bolt-on fiberglass hood. Factory-tension springs are too strong; use the correct low-tension spring where available. Do not use push-pin-style fasteners.
